Photique does not currently accept payments or offer subscriptions. These rules will apply only when a paid offer is made available with its price, included features, and purchase method.
1. Information shown before purchase
Before the payment button, a paywall or checkout must clearly show:
- the product or plan name and its exact contents;
- included credits or generations, resolution, quality, storage, and other limits;
- the full localized price, currency, taxes, and unit price where relevant;
- the billing period, auto-renewal, first charge date, and cancellation terms;
- the trial duration, post-trial price, and first paid renewal date;
- links to the Terms and Privacy Policy.
Apple In-App Purchases show the localized price supplied by Apple. The purchase button must clearly state that pressing it creates an obligation to pay.
2. App Store purchases
- Digital AI features, subscriptions, and credits offered inside iOS use In-App Purchase unless a lawful storefront-specific exception applies.
- A subscription auto-renews until it is cancelled in Apple account settings.
- Manage Subscription: apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.
- Request a Refund: reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple and applicable law determine eligibility.
- Restorable purchases must provide Restore Purchases; purchased IAP credits do not expire.
- Deleting a Photique account does not cancel Apple billing automatically.
3. Web purchases
A web checkout identifies the merchant and payment provider before payment. The operator does not receive the full card number. Access is granted only after a confirmed provider confirmation from the payment provider, not merely after the browser returns to Photique. Customers will be able to obtain receipts, update their payment method, and cancel renewal through an account page or support. The payment provider, expected refund response time, and tax treatment will be disclosed before web sales begin.
4. Cancellation, failed runs, and credits
- Cancellation stops future renewal; access usually continues to the paid period end.
- Cancellation does not itself refund a charge that has already been made.
- A credit is charged only for the operation defined on the paywall; an operation that never starts must not consume a credit.
- If a generation fails or an external service refuses it, the terms shown at purchase will explain whether Photique retries the operation, returns the credit, or issues a refund where required.
- A chargeback or refund may revoke the corresponding unused access; existing user content is not deleted without a separate basis.
5. EU and UK consumer rights
Distance contracts may carry a 14-day withdrawal right. Where digital content or a digital service begins immediately, checkout separately requests prior express consent and, where applicable, acknowledgement of the effect on withdrawal rights. There is no blanket waiver of all refunds. Mandatory remedies for undelivered or non-conforming digital services remain available.
6. Contact
Use the Apple routes above for App Store billing or refunds. For a technical issue or a web payment, email support@photique.app. Include the account email, purchase channel, transaction or reference ID, date, and issue description. Never send a full card number or security code.
